Cold Mountains

I left Tokyo for Miyako, Iwate Prefecture this morning for another tsunami-research fieldwork.  After getting off from bullet train at Morioka, I used a local train for Miyako. The train went through snowy Kitakami Mountains.

The scenery was so beautiful, and the train ride (2 hours) was comfy.
